# Plugins

LiveKit Agents and Pipecat take a base URL on their Deepgram speech-to-text plugin. Point it at .wave and pass your .wave API key; the rest of the pipeline stays as it is.

## LiveKit Agents

## Settings

- **Model**: Can stay at the plugin’s default.
- **Language**: Name it when you know it; leave it out to let the model detect it. See [Languages](https://dotwave.ai/docs/realtime/languages/).
- **Other settings**: Plugin defaults such as `punctuate`, `smart_format` and `interim_results` are accepted. See [Parameters](https://dotwave.ai/docs/deepgram/parameters/).
